Jennifer Connelly landed the lead role in the black comedy Bad Behavior. This is the directorial debut of actress Alice Englert, Jane Campion's daughter, according to Deadline.
The aspiring director also wrote the script herself. Connelly's partner will be Ben Whishaw, and they will be accompanied by Ana Skotney, Dasha Nekrasova and Marlon Williams. The film will be set in New Zealand.
The viewers will be told about the former girl-actress Lucy (Connelly), who seeks enlightenment in seclusion, led by spiritual leader Elon (Wishaw). At the same time, the heroine is trying to regain the favor of her stunt daughter Dylan (Englert).
